I am spending my post-Playdate week deep in the land of Creative Recovery and Renewal.

It’s really important, like vitally important, to take some time out, before diving into the next thing, to settle into the satisfaction of a job well done.

So that’s my focus this week: not diving into the next thing. Celebrating. Appreciating. Savoring.

Bubble baths, naps, reading, trips to the beach, painting, journaling, dreaming.

Covering things in glitter.

 

 

Moving very slowly, breathing very deeply.

Appreciating and Savoring a Job Well Done.

I had an amazing experience with the Creative With Money Playdate.

This is something I have wanted to do for about 5 years – almost as long as I’ve been doing creativity workshops. Money is something that is really important to me. 

Or more accurately – helping people (especially creative people!) be more empowered and creative with money is really important to me.

And I am so glad I did it!  The playdate was about 15 times better than I’d hoped it would be.

The playdaters really brought it: creativity, imagination, wisdom, COURAGE.

Huge huge huge huge shifts, transformations and healings are happening.

And some of them are randomly finding money!  I went grocery shopping on Sunday and half of the things I wanted were on sale, like mega-on-sale.

Of course – those things are secondary to how amazingly freeing and magic the shifts, transformations and healings are.  But still.

People are talking about money with glee and excitement!

Really, the energy in our Playdate Facebook group is incredible.  You can feel the gee and magic radiating from the computer screen.

I am so happy, grateful and proud.

I created this big, epic thing that is resulting in real change in people’s money lives.

And we’ve only just begun!

We’re still going to spend all summer exploring what we learned and finding more ways to integrate it into our ever-evolving relationship with money.
