{intention} creative flow

weekly intentionEvery Monday, I share my intention for the week and welcome you to do the same.

This is not about setting goals or creating to-do lists and working our tails off to achieve them. This is about taking some time to be quiet and still and ask “What do I need this week?” and setting an intention from there to align ourselves with that. It’s about paving the way for success, joy and dreams come true to find us throughout the week.

Last week I wrote: This week is going to be so amazing. I can just feel it. And it did turn out amazing – but not in the way I was thinking it would.

Last week holding true to my intention of creative flow led me to the places that need some extra love and attention – creative flow obstacles that were ready to be un-clogged.

One thing about intentions is that we don’t really get to choose “how”.  We choose where to direct our attention and energy and focus and trust that as long as we stay in alignment with that, whatever comes our way is what we need in order to work on that intention.

Last week, in order to really get into that part of my creative flow that I needed to access – I needed to go through the fear and stuck places.  Vulnerability and insecurity.  It was time to dig it up and bring it to light and let it dissolve and wash away.

I don’t get to snap my fingers, say “my intention is creative flow” and automatically be in the bestest and greatest creative flow ever.

In setting my intention I’m opening up to whatever needs to happen in order for me to invite in what I want.  And in this case – healing is needed.

Which is a long process.

So this week I’m staying with the same intention. And I’m going to stay with it until it feels complete.

So there it is. My intention this week: stay in my creative flow. Again.

My intention this week is {to make room for the things my spirit needs.} This means simplifying my schedule, knowing when I’ve overbooked myself–knowing that even though I want to do so much, if I’m stressed out I’m not fully present in all the stuff I’ve booked myself for. It’s better that I do only a few things and have that open space to be able to tune into my intuition and relax into a peaceful state of mind. Or, if I’m having a day that’s feeling like a sort of time crunch, to be able to relax into it, access that space in my heart that feels wide and open–that I can take two minutes to breathe or do a creative, restorative activity to find whatever it is I need–be it relaxation, energy, inspiration, or connecting with others.

This week, I need peace and calm as I adjust to this tranformative place that I’m in my life right now.

I love where you are…I feel as if I’m in a similar place.

I did so-so with last week’s intention…to move. I did a little bit of the 7 direction meditation most days and then yesterday I practiced tango dancing with a friend.

I think I’m going to try an continue with that intention…but also I want to work with confidence I can do my website on my own this week. I have had a friend helping me and just today his wife went into labor…so I feel as if I’ll be on my own for the final stages (more or less) before I launch it in two weeks. But I can…and I won’t stress because like everything else, it’s a work in progress.

Well, now that I’m breathing, this week my intention is to feel the exciting energy about my dreams.

I was talking to a friend about one of my dreams, moving. I was getting all excited & felt really good about the energy I was feeling. I realized, it’s this energy that feeds & fuels my dreams. So, this week, I’m going to keep the feeling alive of being excited about my dreams & all that’s happening to make them come alive! YAH! ;0)
