{weekly intention} express

weekly intentionevery monday, i share my intention for the week and welcome you to do the same.

setting a weekly intention is like taking some time to pave the way for success, joy and dreams to come true to find us throughout the week.

sharing that intention with others grounds us in it. we can also inspire and be inspired through the sharing of intentions.

this is not about setting goals or creating to-do lists and working our tails off to achieve them. this is about taking some time to be quiet and still and ask “what do i need this week?” and setting an intention from there to align ourselves with that.

i am making art every day (i’ll do a post this friday to share what i make this week) and taking a really amazing self portrait photography e-course.  i am in the beginning stages of putting a living your creative magic e-course together (to start in january!)

my intention this week: open up. express. create. play.

i really love doing these posts every week.  it’s like stopping to take a deep breath and re-focus before diving into a beautiful week.

I was sort of half successful with my “rest” intention last week…

This week I’m going to try and continue that :)

Last week was the first time I worked with a week intention and I must say it worked out fabulous. I did not know of the power of setting intentions!!
All week long I was aware of my boundaries and clearing out what was other people’s energy and what mine. At the end of the week I did a dancing meditation, inviting in the Bear archetype and she showed me vigorously how to dance and move the energy in order to clear my own space and re-draw boundaries that went spreading out too far. Amazing!

    Here’s this week’s intention: http://baubodance.wordpress.com/2010/11/09/space-vs-control/

My intention is to start trying out handmade Christmas gifts (does this count?) LOL, I stress every year and either end up doing something ‘not that good’ or buying something. This year I have several ideas and I want to at LEAST try them out.

    yah love these!!!

melanie i wonder – what do you need that would make this easier for you? setting your intention for that will help you to start making the christmas gifts without it feeling frustrating or like a “to-do list”.
