We noticed on a group call recently that we can sometimes want to tone down our unique/authentic way of doing things, out of the idea that if we conform to how the world expects us to do things - this will increase our chances of SUCCESS...
And so then our authentic way of doing things feels TOO WEIRD...
And then our weirdness can feel like a barrier to success...
But how can you call it “success” if you have to hide parts of yourself?
Where are you trying to fit in?
Where do you feel safe to stand out?
What if fully being your most authentic self, even if people think it’s weird, is the most fulfilling and powerful way to live? What if it HEALS YOU?
What helps you withstand the discomfort of being your most authentic self, even when people think it’s weird?
And…. how much do you respect and want the respect of people who would judge your most authentic self as “being too weird”?
Your weirdest dreams have so much to teach you.
The places where you are weird are just the places where you don't conform to who the world thinks you should be. When we can make more space for that weirdness, we can learn more about our selves, find more of our inner gifts and medicine, and be more powerful in our lives.
Dreaming WEIRDER is a 1 hour alchemy meditation + journaling healing circle for exploring all of this. It's happening Oct 1 in the Creative Dream Incubator Coaching Membership.
