This is another week of feeling really proud of myself. I am doing my new habits!!! Consistently every day. Meditation + journaling are way up. Screen time is way down. I am spending 15 minutes or so a day doing "life maintenance" and so I no longer get to the weekend feeling like it will take all weekend just to get my life in order.
I sat with all the things that weren't working and processed my feelings and saw new ways I could be and experimented and here I am. I am so grateful to be on the other side of this.
Also, I found out the judge approved the DIY divorce papers we had submitted, so our divorce will be legally final at the end of October. This is such a relief that it's done, and we don't have to get lawyers and turn it into a big ordeal.
How do I feel about this/What am I learning: I am learning about my self care needs for this phase of life I am in. They are so different from what they were before! I guess I have finally moved out of the phase of being annoyed that my needs have changed, and am accepting I am where I am. And this has freed up a LOT of energy for more interesting things.
What do I need now: It's so nice to ask this question and feel like my needs are mostly handled. I got this!
What does my dream need now: My dream showed up as... a little picture of a mountain terrain turning flat. Oh what a relief - the sensation of not seeing mountains ahead in need of climbing! It doesn't feel like it needs anything right now.
Taking all of this into account my focus for next week is: I've been doing so good on so many fronts - the self care, showing up for my dreams, planning for the future and taking tiny consistent steps - I just want to keep it up!
